What is Singapore Visa?

Singapore Visa is an official permit that allows travellers to freely enter and exit the country. Indian Nationals holding normal Indian passports need to apply for Singapore eVisa to enter Singapore. On the other hand, Indian Nationals holding diplomatic, service and official passports do not need an e-Visa for entry. Besides you can only apply for it either through an Authorised Visa Agent in India or through a local contact in Singapore, who is a Singapore citizen. The Singapore High Commission does not accept individual walk-in applications.

Singapore eVisa is an electronic Visa which can be applied online. The applicants are expected to carry a print out of the VIsa along with their passport throughout the Singapore trip.

The eVisa is a multiple entry visa valid for up to 2 years. The validity of the eVisa is at the discretion of the Singapore High Commission and can be issued between 0 to 2 years. Within the issued validity period, you can travel to Singapore multiple times and stay for up to 30 days on each visit. You don’t need to reapply again for a Singapore tourist visa as long as the visa is valid.
